There are a few things you might need to know about the Trucking Industry before you make your final decision.
Beware
Truck Driver Training Schools are popping up on every corner these days but you need to beware! You first have to remember that not all Trucking Schools were created equal. If someone tells you that you will have your CDL (Commercial Drivers License) In less than 3 weeks they may be right but most Trucking Companies require you to attend an approved 3-4 week Certified Truck Driver Training Center in order to qualify. So you may indeed receive your CDL but if you do not choose the right school that License could be useless.
Find a Trucking Company First
Before You spend a dime with a Trucking School you need to make sure you have been approved by a Trucking Company. We have many Schools and Trucking Companies that can get you pre approved for employment before you begin training after all what good is a CDL without a company willing to hire you. Take a moment right now and fill out this quick application and you can find out what your options are. This will get the ball rolling and give you the opportunity to ask questions before you make your decision.

Just How Much Greener is The Grass on The Other Side?
Once you obtain you CDL Truck Companies will come out of the wood work offering you what appears to be an offer you just can't refuse. Some offers may be legitimate but in most cases you will only hurt your career by Job hopping. If you can stick with your first company for a minimum of 6 months you can have your pick of companies as long as you keep you CDL clean.
